Travel by Plane

Public transport in Vienna

Vienna has a efficient network of underground trains, trams, and buses. Tickets are available in the underground stations and at tobacconists.

To go to the Kuffner Observatory, the location of the MACE 2006 meeting, use the underground train U3 or the municipal railway S45 to stop "Ottakring". From there, take bus 46B or 146B to stop "Ottakringer Bad/Kuffner-Sternwarte". Instead of taking the bus, you can take a 15 minute walk: Go west on the "Thaliastraße" for about 700 m, then turn left into the "Johann-Staud-Straße". After another 900 meters, you will have reached the Kuffner Observatory.

Climate
